Op FX – How it works
Here’s how Operation FX works:
The Church provides:
Curriculum - every Sunday morning, all classes Kindergarten to Fifth grade will be taught the same lesson from Group’s Faithweavers.
On Wednesday this lesson will be reinforced – ensuring we all have something to discuss in the car on the way home.
Memory Missions - Each age level will receive an eight week Memory Mission that will be reinforced at church and at home, helping our children know God’s word by heart.
Special Opportunity Service - Each month kids and parents will have an opportunity to work on a service project that benefits our community or at home suggestions are provided for families to conduct their own SOS.
Family Fun Zone – Each semester the kids and their families who have participated in SOS and completed their memory missions can attend the Family Fun Zone. It is a few hours of pure fun for the whole family!
Parents provide:
Discipling. It begins and ends with you!
We encourage all of our parents to reinforce the memory missions, talk about their children’s lessons and participate in SOS. We’ve also challenged parents with a 20 minute initiative – five minutes each day to: Pray (when you get up), Sing (as you go along the road), Talk (when you sit down) and Read (when you lay down.)
We are all in this spiritual journey together and are excited to see how God works in our children’s lives. See you at the Family Fun Zone!!
