Children’s Minister

Bekah Blanton began work as the Children’s Minister in September 2010. She works along side the parents, Deacons and the Shepherds in partnership to facilitate a ministry for children that develops an early desire to want to know God, love God and to serve others in His name.

Bekah has a rich heritage with the family of believers in Georgetown. She has spent more than half of her life growing and serving in this community, and in this church. She was thrilled to accept the opportunity to work as the Children’s Minister. Her passion for children and people has made her well equipped to work closely with families. Her stronghold is a deep love for Christ and a willingness to go where the spirit leads her.

Bekah is a proud mother of four children (triplet nine-year-olds and a teenage son) and has been married to Chris for more than 13 years. They have lived and played in Georgetown for more than 26 years.  They consider this town to be their home and this church to be their family.

She believes that the more positive influences and experiences our children have the more prepared they will be to counter negative forces in the world. “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” Ps 31:24
