Tim has been preaching for our congregation since August of 2008.  His past ministry experiences include the Downtown Church of Christ in Searcy, AR, and also churches in Memphis, TN and Tallahassee FL.  He was also involved in campus ministry for many years.  Tim is a 1980 graduate of Harding University, where he received a degree in Biblical Languages.  He has also done graduate work at Harding Graduate School of Religion.

He and his wife, Belinda, met in college and were married in 1979.  Belinda is the Program Director at the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center.  Tim says, “Our marriage relationship is a blessing for us and is one of the strengths of our ministry.  Belinda and I are very much a team.”  They have two children, both of whom live in Georgetown: Andrea, who is married to  Aaron Miller, and Jeff.  Jeff has been helping with our worship ministry.

Tim’s primary roles in our congregation are preaching and helping provide spiritual leadership.  “I am both honored and overwhelmed to be able to stand before this church every week and share a message from the Word of God.  I believe there is tremendous power in the proclamation of Scripture to help us be transformed into the image of Jesus, so it is a ministry I take very seriously.”
